12 Hours

I try to always challenge myself in order to grow as a person. This summer may be the ultimate challenge. I'm working twelve hour shifts at the hospital as a nurse tech (basically a CNA). I've worked two shifts and never imagined emptying so many urinals and giving so many bed baths. Wow. I give baths all morning. I'm not complaining. It's amazing and I have a completely new respect for nurses' assistants. Those guys/girls are hard workers. The patients are (for the most part) kind too. They are sick and nothing sounds better than being clean. I've been there. So, if you're in need of a bath just holla!
You guys probably thought I was going to chat about the baby. We have to be careful of over-exposer. Look at Britney Spears and Lindsey Lohan--gotta be careful these days. We are at twelve weeks though!!!! Yea!!! One trimester down! Now I'm waiting for the food aversions and nausea to end.

Poor Jarrett

The mood swings are getting old. I don't feel them coming on and BAM--I'm in a bad mood. I feel terrible for poor Jarrett. Only one more week until we're out of the first trimester. Will my hormones recognize that it's week thirteen and come to ammends?
Jarrett is so kind. When I apologize for my antics his response is, "What are you talking about? You're fine." Yeah right. I just reamed you for bringing in the laundry. He may be slightly enjoying the times I loose my cool. When I feel bad for berating him he gets a Reese's Peanut Butter Treat--he's had ice cream, a fastbreak, whipped candy bars (those are lowfat), Reese's pieces, cookies and on and on. If it's chocolate and peanut butter I buy it. I'll it need for an apology eventually. Thank goodness for his fast metabolism.
I'm off to get him one of those Baskin Robbin's Reese's blasts tonight. I gotta do something.
